Could the Property of Firestone Home Explosion be Turned Into a Park
Last year a home in Firestone was destroyed by an explosion due to a gas line. This year the property could be under consideration to become a neighborhood park.
Erin Martinez survived the explosion that killed her husband and brother. A letter was sent out last month to the residents from the Oak Meadows Homeowners Association stating that she had offered to donate the land for it to become a neighborhood park.
Erin's attorney is saying that the letter sent to residents about the property is premature and inaccurate. Erin Martinez has not come to a final decision as to what she is going to do with the Firestone property currently.
