It's been 35 years since Hughes Stadium drew tens of thousands of fans for a huge concert event.  Could CSU now be trying to bring big shows back to the landmark Fort Collins stadium?

The answer is a definite...maybe.

The Coloradoan reports that CSU halted big shows at Hughes back in 1978, mainly because the shows were too noisy.

For the past several years, however, university officials have quietly met amongst themselves and with city leaders to discuss bringing concerts back to Hughes. Those conversations, however, have stalled as university leaders focus on their efforts to build a new on-campus football stadium.

I think it would be fantastic to see some big names come to Hughes Stadium; but then again, I don't live near there, and wouldn't have to deal with the traffic and the noise.

Do you think CSU should bring large-scale concerts back to Hughes Stadium, or is the traffic and noise from football games just about all you can handle?
