In a small town, about three hours from Northern Colorado sits Divide, Colorado. Home to the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center.

The Center's mission is conservation, and in March 2007 they received their Association of Zoos and Aquariums certification, one of just 20 in the nation to receive that honor. With this honor, the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center can house endangered canids.

If you're looking for a staycation with the family, you can visit the center as they offer guided educational tours and programs that teach people the role wolves play in our ecosystem.

Coming up on December 24th from 9 - 11 a.m. the Center will have a special holiday celebration where you can have breakfast burritos with the wolves. Here's to hoping they are better behaved than my beagle.

Check out this most incredible video of the Center's Danielle interacting with these giant wolves.
