Spring weather can change in the blink of an eye. You could be putting on sunscreen one day, and the very next digging out your parka to shovel snow.

As we are staring down the threat of another spring storm we are all stuck wondering will it be rain? Snow? The only thing that all the weather models seem to agree on is that there will be a massive amount of precipitation. How that looks, only time will tell.

CDOT is getting prepared for the next spring storm. Will it dump a massive amount of snow as the blizzard of March 2016 did? Or will it just be a little wet? Either way, the plows have to be ready to go.

Perry the Plow Driver says:

"The bad thing about spring storms is that the trees are leafed out and with a heavy, wet snow and it'll break trees and then you get branches breaking electrical lines and things like that, and that's where the main problem comes from."
