Colorado Eagles Swept Out of ECHL Playoffs
The Colorado Eagles were eliminated in the 1st round of the ECHL Playoffs last night by the Stockton Thunder. The Thunder beat the Eagles 4-2 Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center, sweeping their best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinals series three games to none.
The Thunder advance to take on the defending ECHL champion and 2011-12 regular season champion Alaska Aces in the next round. Colorado finish their 1st season in the ECHL with a record of 38-28-6. They were the 4th seeded team in the Western Conference in this year’s playoffs.

Greeley Stampede Announces Grand Marshals
Yesterday the Greeley Stampede announced Bill and Sharon Farr as the 2013 Greeley Stampede Grand Marshals. Bill Farr is a fourth generation Greeley native and the third generation in his family, including Harry W. Farr and W.D. Farr, to be chosen as a Grand Marshal. He and his family
