The big news of the day is who will fill the empty late night slot when David Letterman retires. And the winner is... Stephen Colbert from the late night Colbert Report, a satirical news show on Comedy Central.
Don't know Stephen Colbert? Here's a peak into who he is and his brand of humor as he recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Originally setting out to be an actor Colbert turned to what was a no-brainer career in comedy. After working for years on The Daily Show, he started his own spin-off show, The Colbert Report, a parody of personality-driven political opinion shows.

Colbert will take over for David Letterman in 2015.
