Clean Sheet Day – Brian’s Blog

What a great day it’s going to be. It’s Friday, Habajeeba, and it’s clean sheet night!! I love clean sheet night. Now I know I should wash my sheets more often but to be honest it only happens every few weeks. There is something so wonderful about climbing into a freshly washed set of sheets; the smell, the clean crisp feel and the fresh feeling it gives you all over. I seem to sleep so happy and deep on clean sheet night. There are days of sweat and body dust that collects in those bad boys over time and a fresh new feel is just what the doctor ordered.

When you think about it, the world and the day ahead of us is our bed. You’ve heard the saying “you made your bed now lie in it”? Well, you make you day and you have to lie in it. We are in control of everything. No one has the power to “make” you do anything. We choose. Every day you wake up to a new day it’s like a bed with clean sheets. It is a fresh start each day.

The dirt and grime of yesterday can be washed away over night and you start out with fresh linen each day. There is a fresh bed waiting for you. If you get it dirty or wet it, you can lie in it but it starts fresh and clean every day. Take a moment to breathe deep and enjoy the smell of a brand day.
