City of Fort Collins Wants Your Input on Disruptive Behaviors in Old Town

There have been recent stories about panhandlers in Fort Collins disrupting businesses.

Specifically, at the corner of College and Oak, hangers out on the bench have been disrupting customers of Wadoo, leading to a bit of a standoff between them and the business owner.

That led to a sign being posted, that sign being trashed, the sign being reposted inside the store and one of the hangers out in question heckling and harassing the customers of the business.

Messy, for sure.

The City of Fort Collins seems like it wants to have compassion for the people who spend time on the benches and the people who run the businesses.

So, they are holding listening session and are asking for public input on a survey concerning disruptive behavior in Old Town.
