Now that my daughter is a gymnast, I have a whole new appreciation for the dedication and talent of Cirque du Soleil performers. They work so hard to put on these fascinating and colorful shows. If you have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, don't miss the chance to see one right here in Northern Colorado. The timing of this show will make tickets a very impressive holiday gift, so be sure to think ahead. Cirque du Soleil is returning to the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland with it's newest touring show, "Ovo". Catch one of seven performances January 11th-15th, 2017.

"Ovo" is described as "a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement." The cast of 50 acrobatics and performers come from 12 countries. The official Cirque du Soleil website shows, spiders, ants, and crickets all bursting with color. One highlight is said to be a flying act in which a group soars high above the stage, from both edges to the middle landing on a platform. Check out the trailer below.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. at BudweiserEventsCenter.com, the Budweiser Events Center box office or by phone at 1-877-544-8499 (TIXX). Tickets starting at $36 for adults (subject to change) and $27 for children. Senior, military, student discounts and family 4-packs available.
