Cheyenne Police Seek Laptop Thief [VIDEO]

Cheyenne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of computer theft.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says the woman stole a laptop from a person at the Laramie County Library on April 11.

“The victim went into the bathroom with a backpack containing a laptop,” said Malatesta. “She sat that backpack down and several seconds later another person entered the bathroom and took that backpack and left the library.”

Anyone who recognizes the woman or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact Officer Ruiz at (307) 633-6670 or jruiz@cheyennepd.org in reference to case number 17-19546.
