Packing for an event is always a challenge - too much and you ruin your day lugging extra gear, too little and you might go without some vital item. We've thought of a few suggestions to make your time in Frontier Park go smoothly:

1. Water - the human body is about 70% water, and you need to keep it that way! Water is available throughout Frontier Park at concession stands and rest areas.

2. Sunscreen: Don't get crispy! You want to eat bacon at the pancake breakfast, not be bacon in the grandstand! (they actually serve ham, but that just didn't make sense in this sentence)

3. An Umbrella

The great thing about this item is it works in heat or rain, both of which can happen at any time in Wyoming! Get a small, collapsible one that fits in a purse or bag, you don't want to look like a 1950s businessman (unless you plan on singing in the rain).

4. An extra phone battery

For about twenty bones you can get an external battery for your phone and never have to stop taking pictures or texting that friend your location in Frontier Park.

5. Comfortable shoes - There's an old cowboy saying that goes, "Don't go for a long walk in new boots" and it's stood the test of time for a reason! Frontier Park is bigger than you might think, and you're going to be strolling around...and you don't want to be thinking about your feet when you're having a blast at the rodeo, checking out the downtown parades or rocking out at Frontier Nights
