Cheyenne Frontier Days Officially Kicks Off Today – John Mellencamp Tonight

Cheyenne Frontier Days kicks off today. You can see rodeo action today and a classic rock concert tonight featuring John Mellencamp.  I grew up with "Jack & Diane," "Little Pink Houses," and "Small Town." It's going to bring back some great memories.  Here is today's schedule:

•  7 a.m. - Timed Event Slack (Tie-Down Roping, Steer Roping, Steer Wrestling & Team Roping)

• 8 a.m. - Art Show & Sale

• 8 a.m. -  Old West Museum

• 9 a.m. - Fort D.A. Russel Days

• 10:30 a.m. - Carnival Midway

• 10:30 a.m. - Old Frontier Town

• 11 a.m. -  Buckin' A Saloon

• 12:15 p.m. - Cinch Rodeo Shootout (Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, Bareback Bronc, and Steer Wrestling)

• 8:00 p.m. - John Mellencamp with special guest Carlene Carter
