It's true, I'd rather just pass my birthday on by. With the exception of last year, and this year, I have never brought attention to it. Today though, I do have a birthday wish.

My birthday wish this year is the same as last year. That those of you who appreciate what our veterans have done over the decades, honor them by sponsoring some miles for my upcoming Endurance Ride in June where I will once again ride my motorcycle on an extreme endurance ride of 10,000 miles in 10 days. That's 240 hours!

I am the one who is doing all the work and all you have to do is say "thank you" to our veterans by sponsoring miles at a $1 per miles. Sponsor as many as you like today and you can pay for them when you can. 100% of the money raised will be used to send local veterans on the September 2015 Honor Flight to Washington D.C. It cost a $1000 to send one of our veterans and if we ALL come together, the $50,000 goal I am trying to hit should be easy. In fact, I have been trying to hit that goal since January and not even half way there yet.

Here is all you have to do:

  1. Send an email to charley@k99.com
  2. Let me know how many miles you would like to sponsor at $1 per mile
  3. Tell me where you live
  4. If you are sponsoring miles for a veteran please give me some info on them like what branch they served in, rank, where they served etc.

That's it!  I will take it from there and you get all the credit. If you are on Facebook, you can click on the fundraising page below and see everything that is going on with the ride and where you will see your miles logged.

My birthday wish is simple: All I want is for you to help send our veterans to Washington D.C to see the memorial and monuments built to honor them. It's time to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. This isn't about me, it's about you. I am just a vessel to donate through; it's all of you who get the credit.
