I'm going rogue...every Friday, starting today!  Off the grid and we'll fly by the seat of our pants on your K99 Afternoon Drive show.  One thing is for sure, you won't hear most of the songs I will be playing anywhere else.

I'm probably making more of a bid deal about this than it's worth but I don't think so.  I have been in radio since 1977, back in the day when we had to create our own shows and you were hired and fired based on what you could produce.

Those days are long gone but our new commander in chief has given me the green light to proceed back to my old school days, with limitations that I fully agree with.  You will still hear all your current favorites and new songs from major venue artists, but now you will get to hear some of that old school stuff you'll probably never hear anywhere else.

There will even be some newer songs that I think are totally underrated so I will give those a spin here and there. One hit wonders like Pin Monkey and Lost Trailers, to Billy Dean, Tanya Tucker, Kathy Mattea and of you might even hear some Johnny Cash, Highway 101 and Clay Walker.

Here's the deal: As long as it's successful, the Friday Free For All will remain a permanent fixture on each and every Friday afternoon show.  Send your requests, complaints or compliments to charley@k99.com and LET'S DO THIS!
