I was out at Harsh Power Sports in Eaton on Saturday, November 29 and had a chance to ride a Segway for the first time. How hard could it really be?

I have always wanted to ride a Segway and finally had a chance this past Saturday at my remote in Eaton. Let's be clear, this isn't a stock Segway and actually has off-road tires so you can ride this thing all over the place.

After watching one of the owners ride it all morning over the boulderous terrain out front, I decided to give it a try. If it has two wheels, I can ride it. Although I didn't take it over the rock course, I did have it up to full speed on my first round, within seconds, and couldn't get enough.

I'm hooked and get this: You can even get saddlebags for the thing, pull a small trailer and even put a gun scabbard on it or pack your .45, .357 or 9mm in the case up front. Seriously, if I am going to chores around the farm or ranch, I would do it on this.
