Charley Barnes Invites All Riders Sunday for the OJ Alvarado Memorial Run

This is another personal invitation to join me this Sunday to honor OJ Alvarado, a local United States Marine from right here in Greeley who passed suddenly, and without warning, on 1 June, 2014.

Family and friends are gathering to put on a memorial poker run this Sunday, July 20, to honor United States Marine, Sgt. James "OJ" Alvarado. All vehicles are welcome and encourage to attend.

Registration  starts at 9:00 a.m. at the VFW Post 2121 (2514 7th Ave) in Garden City. The cost is only $15 per rider/hand and then $5 for each additional rider/hand.

The run will end at the American Legion in Windsor.

SGT James "OJ" Alvarado was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines (2/1) Weapons Company at Camp Pendleton in California and also completed two overseas combat tours; his first to Iraq in 2009 and the second to Afghanistan in 2011.
