You know those insurance commercials where they show the guys who are turning into their fathers? I laugh every time I see those because I can see the truth in it and find myself slowing doing it. I find myself being that old guy who talks about how things used to be...but I am right darn it.

One week from today will mark the 12th anniversary of one of the most terrifying days of my life. It was a day I will never forget and glad I won't because it is one I need to remember. It was 12 years ago January 21st that I had a heart attack and thought this beautiful life of mine was going to end.
