Have you ever licked your cell phone? Be honest. I can honestly say I have. I had some sticky goo that I was hoping was syrup on my phone and I licked it off. I am not convinced it was syrup but it did come off. I felt ashamed realizing I had just frenched my phone.

Todd and I are not royalty but we will feel like it on Monday. We will be riding in the Windsor Harvest Festival parade aboard a coach from Kiowa Creek Coaches LLC. These bad boys are pulled by some of the most amazing, huge and beautiful horses you will ever see.

I'm not much of a fisherman. O.K. I am a horrible fisherman. I think they Smell me coming Maybe I should take some lessons from this bird.  He uses a piece of bread to lure a fish.  It really is quite amazing. Check out the video.

I have  done many things in my life that could be considered a little bit out of the ordinary. I have bungee jumped!  I have fallen out of a raft in the Poudre River!   I have worn a dress on stage 3 different times.  I have won a CMA Award.  I've knocked myself out cold by hitting my head on the ceiling while walking down the stairs.  There are a lot of things I  haven't done too.  I am going to give you a list of things I have or haven't done. One of those things is not true.  Try to figure out which one it is.

Army Sgt. Christopher Birdwell was on his third tour of duty when he was killed in eastern Afghanistan. Chris grew up in Windsor.  His family was notified on Monday that he  had been shot in the chest by small-arms fire.  Our thoughts and prayers with the Birdwell family and God bless Chris for making the ultimate sacrifice.
