I am counting down my final days here at K99 and reminiscing about some of the moments that have stood out over the past 30 years. There are some great moments and some painful ones but these are some of the ones that have stood out. Today's memory falls into the painful category.

There are certain moments that you never forget. I have been on the radio for many of those over my 30 year career. I was on the air when the 9/11 attacks occurred and that is one day that will stay with me forever. Another one of those was the Spring Creek Flood of 97 in Fort Collins.

I feel incredible and am looking forward to finding out what exciting adventure awaits my wife and I next. I am open to wherever the river leads me but I do have a plan as well.

There are some people that were just born to do what they do. Josh Turner is one of those people. He was blessed with a voice that was made for us to enjoy and listen to. I can't imagine what a waste it would have been if he was just fixing toilets or roofing houses and only his coworkers ever heard him sing.

I am very excited about the future. I plan on trying to influence, encourage and change the world one encounter at a time. I have big plans and part of that is spreading my message that you can overcome anything if you are driven enough. I have a chance to spread that message where my new life began on Saturday.
