Not more than a year ago, a good friend introduced my wife and I to a Mexican restaurant we'd never heard of before: Castillion's.  Say what you want about the slightly corny decor, but there's no denying how good the food is.  We've been back several times since then.  But now, as quickly as it began, our time with this new favorite Mexican restaurant is coming to an end.

Owner John Castillon is selling his restaurant at 4010 S. College Ave.  According to the Coloradoan, Castillion's will soon become the new Tres Margaritas.

“I don’t know how I’m going to feel” when the restaurant closes, Castillon said. “I love this kind of work, I just need a break. I’m really going to miss it, that’s for sure, and I want to thank everyone who’s supported me for the last 16 years.”

The manager of Tres Margaritas said he will keep many of Castillion's employees, while still hiring back many of his old workers.  The new Tres Margaritas is expected to be open by May 5th (Cinco de Mayo).

Which do you like better: Castillion's or Tres Margaritas?
