At least one person was injured yesterday afternoon after a sedan plowed into a Greeley Burger King at 69th Avenue and 10th Street.

According to Greeley Firefighters, the people inside the vehicle sustained “moderate injuries” and were taken to the hospital. No one inside the Burger King was hurt.

The sedan was sent careening into a Burger King as a result of a two-car crash. A minivan driven by an unidentified 26-year-old Fort Lupton woman cut off the Ford Focus as she turned left into the NorthGate Village shopping center.

The GreeleyTribune reports that the two cars collided in the intersection. After the initial crash, the Ford Focus continued east down an embankment and through one of the side doors of the Burger King restaurant.

The Burger King will be closed for repairs.
