Canine Weight Pull This Weekend to Benefit Zac’s Legacy Foundation
J & T Feeds in west Greeley has scheduled its 10 year Canine Weight Pull for this weekend, October 29th & 30th as a benefit for Zac’s Legacy Foundation. Weigh in for dogs will be 8:30 – 10:00 AM with pull starting at 10:30 AM. On Sunday there will be a dog costume contest at 10:00 AM with the pull starting at 10:30.

The costume contest is open to the public as well as the dog pull participants. Dogs from all over the region (consisting of 4 states) pull for prizes and pointsthat ultimately get them to the Championships held at different locations in the United States each year. Dogs pull 16′ in a minute or less to qualify.
Zac’s Legacy Foundation is a childhood cancer fund that has assisted over 100 Colorado families with every day bills while their child is battling cancer. Lunch will be served from 11-2 both days, and for a $5 tax deductible donation you will get a pulled pork sandwich, chips, drink and Eileen’s Colossal Cookies. T shirts will be available for purchase commemorating the last ten years of pulls hosted at J & T Feeds with proceeds from those sales benefiting Zac’s Legacy Foundation too.

2013 Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby Gears Up July 7th
The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
