A 3-year-old Fort Collins girl, who Fort Collins police say was kidnapped over the weekend, has been found safe in Loveland with her great-grandparents. Mary Anabelle Denton was reported missing on Sunday night.

Her great-grandparents, Carl Lowe Denton and Barbara Ann Denton were arrested on felony charges of 2nd-degree kidnapping and violation of a custody order. They did not have custodial rights to the girl.

According to a post on the Fort Collins Police Facebook page, they are looking for help to locate three-year-old Mary Anabelle Denton after she was reported missing on Sunday.

She is believed to be with her great-grandparents, Carl Lowe Denton and Barbara Ann Denton. They have no custodial rights to Mary Anabelle and failed to return her to her legal guardians on Saturday evening.

It is not believed that Mary Anabelle is at imminent risk of harm and therefore, an Amber Alert is not being issued at this time. Surrounding law enforcement agencies have been asked to be on the lookout for them.
