This Saturday (June 29th) the Greeley Stampede will experience something new. The Sparta Combat League is a cage-fighting MMA league, similar to the UFC. For the first time in it's 91-year history, the Greeley Stampede will have people fighting inside an octagon for your enjoyment.

The fight will take place Saturday, June 29th. The doors will open at 2 p.m. and the fight will start at 3 p.m.. Mixed martial artists Efrain Escudero and Marcus "Bad Intentions" Edwards will be fighting for their 155-pound professional title bout.

If this sounds like something you might enjoy right before your July 4th weekend, you can get tickets from the Spartan Combat League here, Tickets West here, or at the Greeley Stampede box office. Tickets start at $30.
