According to the Coloradoan, Shamrock Foods is hoping to open at the former Wild Oats location in the early part of the Summer. This would make them the third grocer to move into the Fort Collins area in the last few months, behind Costco and Trader Joe's. They specialize in serving clients such as restaurants, school systems, and health care facilities.

The store is projected to be 23,500 square feet and renovations of the building could be close to $1.5 million. With the opening of the store, there will also be job openings that Shamrock will look to fill. The company website currently lists jobs such as account executive, inventory control clerk, and service clerks.

Shamrock is No. 185 on Forbes' list of the largest private companies in the U.S., with annual revenue of $2.4 billion in 2014. According to Forbes, the company has 3,186 employees nationwide.
