‘Geologists Unearth Fully Intact Rock’ is the headline that The Onion uses to set the comedic scene. The dateline- ‘Fort Collins, Colorado’. Uh oh, here we go... You brace yourself. You know that, because it’s The Onion, it’s going to be pretty funny; but you don’t want them making fun of your town!
Turns out there’s a geologist who found a rock! Nice. James Powell. How do they come up with the names, I wonder? Anyhow, James is a geologist working in Northern Colorado who finds a really great rock:

You can’t deny that we DO have a lot of rocks around here. The article goes on about how great of a rock it is that James has found. They have great writers; they crack me up!
