Welcome to Monday. What a weekend I had. I hosted the Redneck Gala for the Barlow Foundation at the Greeley Evans Moose Lodge on Saturday night. What a great time! I met, and got caught up with, so many wonderful people. We had a blast and raised good money for the cause. There were many highlights for me,

including the female belching contest, I actually had to bow to the winner she was amazing. Another gem for me was the "duck squat", that is where they put a duck on a numbered board and whatever number the duck relieves itself on is the winner. We had some trouble getting the duck to get go. Could you go if 300 people were gathered around watching you? I could, but I am guessing most would choke under the pressure. It was a great night and I will look forward to being apart of this event every year.

Sunday night I decided I would watch the Grammy Awards and see how long I could watch before I felt out of place and old. It took an hour and a half. I wanted to see the country winners but couldn't wait for it through all the strangeness. Lady Gaga in an egg? Last time I saw her on a show she was wearing a dress made of meat. She is just a couple of award shows away for being the complete Grand Slam Breakfast from Denny's. Lady Antebellum were the big winners for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Need You Now", Keith Urban won male vocal and Miranda Lambert won female vocal.

Now today, of course if Valentine's Day, and I found the perfect gift for that hard to buy for sweetheart of yours. The Bronx Zoo is offering you the chance to name a Madagascar hissing cockroach after your honey. For just a $10 donation they will make sure your girl will never speak to you again. Come on, seriously, who could get away with this? Unless you are dating the Geico lizard, I don't think anything "buggy" is a great idea. I just see her telling her friends.."He went to D-Con!" Remember guys, flowers die and chocolates melt but roaches are forever. Happy Valentine's Day
