Todd and Greeley Motorcycle Cop exchange pleasantries

Brian Gary and I were proud to be a part of the Weld County Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Colorado again this year. Once again we rode in the K99 truck while a group of Colorado's finest ran and biked the 26-mile course from Firestone to Island Grove Park in Greeley.

One of favorite moments of the day was when a Greeley motorcycle cop pulled up beside the K99 truck and said to me, "Did you go potty before you left?" There is some history here.  Last year about half way through the Torch Run I had to go and I had to go bad.  Brian and I had to stop at Carl's Jr. and use their bathroom, so I wouldn't wet my pants. So, this year I made sure I went before we left and there were no "incidents".

Overall it was a great event raising awareness and thousands of dollars for Special Olympics. The summer games are this weekend in Grand Junction.  If you would like to know more about Special Olympics check out their website.
