We have been close with Brantley Gilbert since he released "Country Must Be Country Wide" back in 2011. We brought him to the Aggie Theater in Fort Collins that same year. In 2014 we went to Brantley's CD release party in Nashville for "Just As I Am" while we were there to pick up our CMA Award. The picture above is Brantley laughing at Brian's Twinkie tattoo at that party.

Brantley was also part of our "Boots in the Sand" trip to Mexico along with Billy Currington and Dierks Bentley in 2014. Brantley has been on our 28 Hours of Hope numerous times and we have had the pleasure of interviewing him more times than we can count. We definitely consider him a friend.

Brantley was kind enough to send Brian this farewell message in this YouTube video before he says his final goodbye at the Last Habajeeba Show on January 25.
