Brand New With Barnes features new songs from well known artists and singers you've never heard of before. This, is your weekly recap in case you missed some.

  • Brothers Osborne - Rum

Brothers Osborne are in fact brothers. John Osborne and T. J. Osborne are a couple of the nicest guys you'll meet and perhaps you did when they were in town for our New from Nashville series. Brothers Osborne are signed to EMI Records Nashville and released their debut single "Let's Go There" late last year. Taste of Country gave the single 3.5 stars out of 5, with reviewer Billy Dukes saying that "The musicianship is strong and powerful from start to finish". Chuck Dauphin of Roughstock wrote that it had "more of a bluesy feel" than most other modern country songs. The new single called "Rum" debuted in early 2014 and sits at #37 on the charts.

  • Scotty McCreery - Feelin' It

Scotty McCreery won the tenth season of American Idol in 2011 and went on to release his debut studio album called "Clear as Day" later the same year. The album was certified platinum and spawned a couple Top 20 songs; "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls". He released a Christmas album and then his third album called "See You Tonight" was released in 2013. The first single from the album, also called "See You Tonight", became his first song to reach the top 10 on Billboard's Country charts. "Feelin' It" is the new release and debuted at #54.

  • Randy Rogers Band - Satellite

Randy Rogers is another one of those big Texas regional acts trying to make a name for himself on the National stage. Rogers started playing piano at the age of 6 and music has always been a part of his life. The Randy Rogers Band have recorded four studio albums and two live albums, and have charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts; nothing hitting in the Top 20 as of yet. "Satellite" is the brand new single released in 2014 on the new album "Homemade Tamales."

  • Luke Bryan - Roller Coaster

With the success of Luke Bryan's latest album, "Crash My Party," it's safe to say it may be his best album ever, even if he makes another 10. The first for singles, "Crash My Party," "That's My Kinda Night," "Drink A Beer," and of course "Play It Again," which all found their way into the Top 10 charts. The new single, "Roller Coaster," is now the fifth single to be released from the album which is kind of, unheard of. It will be no surprise though to see this one in a Top 10 chart as well.

  • Kenny Chesney - American Kids

The new single by Kenny Chesney, called "American Kids," was written by Rodney Clawson, Luke Laird and Shane McAnally. “American Kids” evokes the little pink houses and born in the USA of several generations, while embodying the swept-up-in-the-moment urgency and complete abandon of today’s teens and 20-somethings. Chesney admits it's one of the best songs he's ever heard and immediately knew he had to put the new single on his upcoming album which will be released this Fall. "American Kids" defines "setting the bar high" for the rest to follow!
