Brand New With Barnes features new songs from well known artists and singers you’ve never heard of before. This, is your weekly recap in case you missed some.
Jana Kramer who found much success as an actress eventually found herself having to make a decision between renewing her acting contract for “One Tree Hill,” where she played Alex Dupree, or making a run at country music. Kramer decided on music and is now ready to release her second album hopefully this fall which will include the new single, “Love.” Her first album, released in 2012, went Gold and spawned the #3 hit with “Why Ya Wanna.”
The duo’s first studio album, “Here’s to the Good Times” was hot right out of the chute with their first single, “Cruise,” going to #1. The second single, “Get Your Shine On” also went to #1 but then again so did their third, “Round Here” and the fourth single, “Stay” The new single, “Dirt,” was just released and will be on their second album coming out soon. Chase Bryant is a new artist on the scene and ready to tear it up. His Facebook says it best, “Music defines Chase Bryant. Sara Evans continues to be busy touring off here seventh studio album, “Slow Me Down.” July 26 in Colorado Springs at the Pikes Peak Center and then again at Coors Field on July 27 right after the Rockies/Pirates game. The new single, “Can’t Stop Loving You” is a duet with Isaac Slade of The Fray, a Denver based band
American Young is a duo comprised of Kristy Thomas and singer/songwriter, Jon Stone. Their first single, called “Love is War,” was released last year and just broke into the Top 50. The self titled album was just released in June of 2014 followed by the second release called “Wasn’t Gonna Drink Tonight.” Stone is best known for writing hits like “Me and My Gang” by Rascal Flatts, “A Woman Like You” by Lee Brice and “Only God Could Love You More” by Jerrod Neimann.
