Boy or Girl? We Find Out Tomorrow – Brian’s Blog

It's a big day tomorrow. My daughter Vanessa goes in for her ultrasound and we should find out if we are expecting a grandson or granddaughter. Being a grandpa has been the greatest blessing in my life. I have the honor of having the little guy live in my basement. I am old and he exhausts me but I am so lucky to get to see him grow up. I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world but I am ready to open my heart to more love.

I just pray that whatever the little critter is that it is healthy and full of life and makes my daughters life as exhausting as she has made mine. I know my mom made that same wish for me. Zander loves his mom dearly and will now have to share her with another. I can't imagine growing up without my brother so I am happy for the little guy to have a brother or sister to grow up with. I am a lucky man. I get to hold another baby soon that is of my blood. Children are the most precious gift the world knows. I am happy to know another child will be born into a loving home and we will make sure that it knows how special it is. This really hits home to me as we are gearing up for our 28 Hours of Hope this week. I will have more fuel than ever to fight for those who need someone to stand up for them. God bless the child.
