Boulder firefighters are battling the wind this Sunday, March 19, as a fire rages in the Sunshine canyon area west of Boulder.

According to Boulder OEM, there is no estimated time as of right now when evacuees may return to their homes.

Denver Post reported this morning that the fire was 20% contained, "but winds that were tame earlier are gusting, and the fire is now within a mile of downtown." (Source)

The fire has spread over to 106 acres in size, and local crews are receiving aerial support from the Colorado National Guard.

We will update you as more information becomes available.
