The Greeley Downtown Development Authority's Sixth Annual “Blarney on the Block” St. Patrick’s Day celebration is Saturday, March 11th at 2pm on Downtown Greeley’s 9TH Street Plaza. Everyone is invited to wear their green and participate in the afternoon festivities, including a four-block First national Bank Blarney Parade, featuring the bagpipes and drums of The Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band, Moonlight Carriage, The Weld Sheriff’s Posse and many more!

The shenanigans begin at 2pm with Irish step dancing by the Moriarty-Moffit School of Irish Dance, immediately followed by the parade at 2:30. The parade route starts on 9th Ave. just west of the Tilted Kilt at 6th St.Just be there ready to line up before 2:30.

Entertainment

Immediately following the parade, there will be more live music from The Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band on the plaza. On the stage this year, enjoy music by the premier Irish Pub Band, Juice of the Barley! This will also be a signature Go-Cup event, so patrons can enjoy an adult beverage, purchased at one of the participating establishments, outside on the 9TH Street Plaza during the festivities.

Volunteers

There is still time to volunteer to help make this event a success. They need help with the children’s games and activities.  This your chance to show the community you care about this special family event.
