Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Top List of Most Desirable Celebrity Neighbors
Apparently the folks over at Zillow.com must love country music — and dogs. Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton and his wife, fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert, came in at No. 1 on Zillow’s list of the most desirable celebrity neighbors, topping such stars as Reese Witherspoon and Taylor Swift.
Of course, if you actually lived next door to the busy couple, they’d probably be pretty quiet neighbors, since they admit they’re not home very much. The happy pair have been married for just over a year and a half, and they recently told People magazine that they’ve only spent about 150 days together during that time, owing to their busy touring and recording schedules and Shelton’s commitments to ‘The Voice.’
“We live in Oklahoma, so going home and actually being at the house together is like, ‘This is weird,’” Lambert said on ‘The View’ in July. “So that’s kind of our go-to.”
When they are home, the couple keeps it simple. Shelton described a typical night at home last April: “Miranda loves to sit on the couch and watch movies and drink all night, and there will be at least four dogs piled up on us.”
Perhaps not surprisingly, the cast of the reality TV show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ took home the dubious honors for being the least desirable celebrity neighbors, according to the poll.
