Blackhawk Blast THIS WEEKEND – Benefits Zac’s Legacy Foundation

Many of us are familiar with Zac's Legacy Foundation but for those of you not quite up to speed click their link above and educate yourself to a more than worthy cause.  One of the funnest events they do all year is the Black Hawk Blast, now in it's 12th year, and it's this weekend.

The event was started as a "true" poker run, but it has evolved into any vehicle so you can drive to Black Hawk, or take the bus, and then participants walk to participating casinos to get your cards. The Canyon Casino puts out a spread that is fantastic and tons of prizes to give away!

If you don't want to drive or ride there is a bus leaving at 9:00 AM on Saturday September 22nd from the Greeley/Evans Moose Lodge on 11th Ave.

Reservations for the Annual Fundraiser, Black Hawk Blast are required.

You can also leave from any of the three starting points this year:

• Denver - 9AM
• Longmont - 9AM
• Greeley - 8AM

The $30 entry fee (or $50 couple) will  get you some gambling bucks, a great time and a fantastic meal from the Canyon Casino and all proceeds from the event directly benefit kids with cancer through Zac's Legacy Foundation which provide financial assistance to families that are enduring the struggles of childhood cancer.

If you would like to sign up just stop by Zac's Legacy Office at 2990 W 29th St in Greeley and fill out the reservation form or you can pick up at reservation form at J & T Feeds, 6380 W 10th Street in Greeley or the Greeley/Evans Moose Lodge. Please make checks payable to Zac's Legacy Foundation.
