Black Friday — This Year It’s More Like Thanksgiving to Go and Black Thursday
While some are taking baby-steps into the land of expanding Black Friday, others go hog wild and turn one great sales day into a week long event. This year you may have to take your Thanksgiving to go and welcome in Black Thursday.
BLACK FRIDAY OR THANKSGIVING TO GO
- Walmart throws in the towel and goes for gold by re-inventing Black Friday and turning it into a week-long event. They will start the extreme savings on Thanksgiving evening beginning at 6 p.m. Deals include but are not limited to a 50" LED HDTV for $218, HP Intel Celeron Touch Laptop for $249 and a Disney "Frozen" Snow Glow Elsa Doll for $28.88
- Target is going big and creating the biggest digital Black Friday ever, starting on Thanksgiving evening at 6 p.m. They'll offer free shipping till Dec. 20, 2014 and their biggest deal will be a Samsung Galaxy S5 for a penny, regularly priced at $200
- Best Buy is kicking Black Friday off Thanksgiving Day at 5 p.m. You can expect to see the 50-inch Panasonic TV for $199.99
- Kohls will offer a KitchenAid Classic Plus Stand Mixer for $199.99, Diamond earrings under $100 and a Innovative Technology Bluetooth Sound Bar Speaker for $39.99. Their doors will open Thanksgiving at 6 p.m.
- Sierra Trading Post opens on Black Friday at 6 a.m. and will offer an extra 20% storewide plus the first 100 shoppers will get a free gift card valued from $25 to $500
Whether you shop online this Christmas Shopping season there are plenty of deals to be had, have fun, be safe and remember to enjoy your family before fighting over a polka dot tie dad probably won't wear and a shaving kit uncle Henry won't use (it's always no shave November for that guy)
