Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that needs our attention. There is no government funding so the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation counts on our public donations.

Berkeley Bae "Wonder Woman" Peth is just one of many kids living with Cystic Fibrosis and kicking it right in the teeth. In fact, there are close to 30,000 children, and adults, living with CF in the United States alone. The really sad fact is that there is currently no government funding, believe it or not, and those of us who care are their only hope.

This Sunday, the Bikin' for Berkeley poker run came to be not only to help Berkely, but all the other kids just like her. The money raised goes directly to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation to help in their quest to help those living with Cystic Fibrosis.

The Bikin' for Berkeley, Cruisin' for a Cure Poker Run is this Sunday, May 31. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at The Burnout Grill (1760 Broad St Suite A) in Milliken. Cost is only $20 for motorcycles and $25 for vehicles with 4 wheels, and cars are more than welcome and encouraged to attend. You DON'T have to own a motorcycle to get out, enjoy the beautiful weather expected for Sunday and help raise money for a much needed cause.

The run ends at The New Plantation (3520 11th Ave) in Evans at 4:00 p.m. This is a "cash only" event and worth every penny knowing you and I are at least making and effort to make a difference not only in Berkeley's life, but everyone living with Cystic Fibrosis.
