I love living in a college town.

It's like it brings constant renewal, and the people who have decided to stay here because they came to school here are a great and unique resource that is also constantly turning over.

Sure it comes with incidents of over-exuberance at times, just like me when I was a freshman. And sophomore.

    See a Volleyball Game

It's called Moby Magic and it's one of the most electrifying arenas in volleyball. Visiting players from bigger schools marvel at the madness that Moby manifests. Even if you don't know anything about volleyball, it's easy to pick up and watch, and a game is worth your time, money and attention for sure!

Catch Something from the Bohemian Series

The University Center for the Arts supports great music and is kicking off the 2014/15 season with a performance from Fierce Bad Rabbit.  Free for students, cheap for everyone else, and a great reason to head to campus.

    Stroll

It's just an awesome campus. From the open athletic fields behind Moby, through the Oval, to the Flower Trial Garden, and most everything in between. I love finding small spaces that have special design. My favorite part is the quote from Newton on the sculpture where Pitkin ends.

    Cans Around the Oval

In one of higher education's best fundraising efforts, Colorado State University with SLICE (student leadership involvement and community engagement) collects tens of thousands of pounds of food and dollars for the needy. They pit colleges against colleges to compete to see who can generate the most. Last year, the College of Business took 1st place. A great part to visit is the contest to design the best sculpture with the cans of food.
