Believe it or Not – It is Time to Get a Flu Shot Again
Normally the best time to receive a flu vaccination is from September through January. However, I got one on Tuesday. I was just minding my own business at the pharmacy and as I picked up my prescription, the pharmacist asked me if I would like a flu shot. I didn't even know they were available yet. They were and I did. Now I should avoid the flu this fall, but there is no guarantee.
You can get a flu shot at nearly any grocery store or drug store pharmacy, like I did. You might want to call ahead to make sure they have the vaccine. You can also go to the health department for your flu shot. Here are the locations in Larimer and Weld County:
Larimer County
If you are using the Larimer County Health Department for your flu vaccination, you can receive your vaccine (shot or nasal spray) at the following clinic sites:
