We seem to get confused as to what it means to be successful. Most people feel being successful means that you climbed the corporate ladder, or made a boat load of money, got a promotion or bought some real cool stuff for you and the family. Success seems to measured monetarily. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Success has nothing to do with money but more about what you do with your time. Do you make people feel better after being around you? Do you do things to help others before thinking of yourself? Do you find greater joy in helping a neighbor paint his fence or haul some lumber than doing something for yourself? If you can answer 'yes' to these questions, you are a success. We were put here to do good things for each other. We are here to be good neighbors and stewards of this land. Careers and jobs come and go and achievements and records are forgotten or broken but kind words spoken and helping someone in need are things that never are washed away or forgotten. They fill you. Get busy today and work on filling your soul instead of your wallet. You will never regret it. Make today the day you reevaluate your success.
