Beau Jo’s pizza has been a mainstay in Fort Collins' Old Town Square. However Monday night marked their last day in business at their long-time location. They have officially closed their restaurant at the corner of College and Mountain in preparation for a move to a larger space at the northwest corner of College and LaPorte. The restaurant will be closed until mid-November or early December at which time their new location will be ready for business.Originally owners planned to close the existing location and immediately open the new one, but that did not work out as planned. Consequently the restaurant had to let its staff go during the renovation of their new larger space that will accommodate more patrons.

The Coloradoan reports that The Kitchen, a Boulder based restaurant, will take over the space in Old Town Square left vacant by Beau Jo's Move. Hopefully if you're a Beau Jo's fan you stopped by for a fix before it closed and can hold out until the new restaurant is ready to roll.
