Baby Cut From Womb: Victim Identified [VIDEO]

This story is heartbreaking, horrifying and maddening.

Contemplating these events have left me speechless. It's difficult to process the terror and loss that the mother had to go through. As the details emerged, I found myself hoping this story was a big media screw up.
Unfortunately, this story is real. The suspect is in custody. The victim has been identified as Michelle Wilkins and her family is thanking people in the Colorado community for their support.

The victim's dad had the following statement for TheDenverChannel.com:

We grieve for the many victims of this senseless attack, but mostly for a precious child whose life was ended before she had a chance to live.

The baby has died. Michelle is expected to recover. People have been reaching out to see how they can help, and details for that are expected to come from the family sometime today or tomorrow.
