I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Growing up in such a beautiful area has given me an appreciation for what we have here, and I truly embrace the city and all of Northern Colorado. I graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting with a degree in broadcasting in 2009, and it is a dream come true to be playing music and talking on the radio to all my friends and family in Northern Colorado. I LOVE music, all kinds of music! I also love talking, all kinds of talking! If you think there is a better job for me out there, you let me know! Other than music and talking, I’m a bowler, yes a bowler, I usually get funny looks when I say that. I used to do a lot more of it, but now it's more for fun rather than a job. I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Shai, who was born in June 2008, and love showing her off! My son Quinntyn was born in December of 2010, and although I have learned raising little boys is almost like having another job, I wouldn't trade him for the world. My kids have become my life, and have given me a different outlook on life than I had just a few short years ago. I really believe in the religion of love. Love everyone, be nice to everyone, and smile, and this world will be a great place to live in. I’m addicted to ice cream and donuts, and I’m a firm believer that nothings more important than family, my Dad and Grandma will always be the biggest heroes in my book for the contributions and support they have given me throughout my life. Although life seems chaotic and sometimes even hard, at the end of the day I thank my lucky stars and God for everything I have, and wouldn’t have it any other way. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.” ~Frederick Keonig Find me on Facebook or Email me, Id love to hear from you!

Beings that Colorado is one of two states to have legalized marijuana for recreational use, you'd think that we would also be one of the states that uses the drug most often, right? Well, kind of. A new map shows us the percentage of each state's residents who regularly use marijuana.
There Seems to Be an Alligator on the Loose in Greeley
Once a week my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Crime Log. Basically they find the weirdest sh** that the cops encountered, and believe me there is a lot in the town over the previous week. This week, there seems to be a large lizard on the loose in a Greeley park.
Fort Collins’ Illegal Pete’s Opening Delayed
I hope you weren't craving Mexican food! At least not Mexican from Boulder-based Illegal Pete's. The new Fort Collins restaurant's opening has been delayed until October.
Odell and New Belgium Make List of ‘The 50 Best Craft Breweries in America’
Fort Collins is becoming known more for it's ability to brew a good craft beer than it's mountains. That being said, the two big dogs in the Fort Collins craft brewing scene are used to winning awards and making lists. They have done it again, but may not be ranked as high as they should be.
Former CSU Star Becomes First Woman Assistant Coach in NBA History
Remember back to the late-90's when Colorado State Women's Basketball meant something? Not that they haven't had some moderate success since then, but that is when one of the school's biggest stars in any sport was in Fort Collins making the Rams a national contender. Now that same CSU Ram is making basketball history on the biggest possible stage.
Free Oysters in Fort Collins Tomorrow (August 5th)
I personally would lose my breakfast if I tried to eat oysters for lunch. And now that I have that image in your mind, let me tell you that tomorrow (August 5th) is National Oyster Day, and Jax Fish House in Fort Collins is celebrating with some free ones.
Map Shows That Hardly Anyone Hates the Denver Broncos
It seems like I am featuring a map in one of my blogs at least once a week, and it's simply because I love them. I also love football. That means this map that shows the most hated NFL team in each state may be my favorite map ever!

65th Avenue and 37th Street in the Greeley Area to Close for Over Two Months
Normally I like to write about more exciting things, but since I use this route everyday, and it will cause a hiccup in my commute to work everyday, I figure there are probably others it'll effect too.
Who Stole the Champion Goat From the Fair in Greeley?
I know that animals that are shown at fairs and win ribbons are worth more than just regular old farm animals, but that is usually in the case of pigs and cows. So why in the world would someone come to the Weld County Fair and rob the grand champion goat?
Windsor Middle School Flooded By Recent Rains
Our radio stations are in Windsor, and although we are usually the ones putting on the shows here, Mother Nature was the star the last couple days. Continuous rains has caused problems all over Northern Colorado, and really made a mess at Windsor Middle School.
