Susan began her broadcasting career about 40 years ago while attending Minot State University. She was the weather anchor for the 6 and 10 pm newscasts and notes, “North Dakota was really cold.” With her B.A. in hand, Susan began working in radio which became a lifelong passion that took her from ND to Anchorage, San Diego, Denver, and to Fort Collins in 1989. Susan’s achievements include being in the Miss America Pageant as Miss North Dakota 1974 (at 18-years-old). Early last night a hiker came upon a dead body off the Coal Creek Trail in eastern Boulder County. It was that of a 28-year-old man. Foul play is not suspected.
