FEMA Authorizes Funds to Help Fight High Park Fire

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the High Park Fire located in Larimer County. The authorization makes FEMA funding available to pay 75 percent of the state’s eligible firefighting costs under an approved grant for managing, mitigating and controlling designated fires.

Downtown Greeley’s Friday Fest Kicks Off Tonight – Full Line-Up

I can remember a time not too long ago when there were two or three restaurants or bars in Downtown Greeley that were worth going to. In recent years the downtown area has cleaned up and added many great business. Now the area has become the first in the state to allow you to take your alcohol to go as well. Tonight, the new law goes into effect and to help celebrate, the  Friday Fest kickoff concert is tonight as well.

Highway 392 Closed From County Road 13 to County Road 3 In Windsor Today

If you are planning a trip to our neck of the woods today, Windsor, you may want to either reschedule or come up with an alternate route to the commonly traveled Main Street (Highway 392). The milling and repaving project will continue in Windsor today with some major closures most likely causing delays in travel.

Windsor Summer Concert Series Kicks Off This Thursday With An All-Town Barbecue

I have bragged about it before and I will again… I love the little community that I now call home so much. Windsor just has that small town feel, it’s conveniently located to everything, and there is so much neat stuff that goes on here. One of my favorite events the Town of Windsor puts on is it’s Summer Concert Series at Boardwalk Park on Thursday Nights throughout the summer.

CSU Stadium Advisory Committee Meeting Recap

A couple hundred people crowded into Colorado State University’s North Ballroom on Wednesday night for what will be the advisory committee’s last official meeting until fall. The biggest news to come out of the meeting is still not whether or not the school will or will not build a new on-campus stadium, but how much they plan to spend if they they decide to build.
