Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest Continues Today

Today is the final day of Bohemian Nights® at NewWestFest in downtown Fort Collins, and this evening features the Gipsy Kings at 5:30pm on the Mountain Avenue stage. The three-day festival started Friday and runs through this evening, showcasing 90+ bands on six stages. Festival hours are 10am to 7pm today, and admission is free.

Broncos Dominate Bears in 31-3 Preseason Win

In the much anticipated debut of Peyton Manning under center for Denver, the Broncos dominated the Bears in a convincing 31-3 win last night in Chicago. Manning engineered an 11-play, 60-yard opening drive into the red zone, that ended on a tipped-pass interception. The drive was Manning's only action of the game.

Rockies In San Francisco Tonight

Coming off a series win in L.A. against the Los Angeles Dodgers (60-52), the Colorado Rockies (40-69) open a three-game weekend series on the road against the National League West leading San Francisco Giants (61-51) tonight at 8:15 MT at AT&T Park (TV: Root Sports). Tyler Chatwood will get the start for Colorado.

Rockies Drop Series Finale To Dodgers 6-4

A game that began with left fielder Eric Young, Jr. leading off with an inside-the-park home run, ended in less spectacular fashion, as the Colorado Rockies (40-69) dropped the series finale to the Los Angeles Dodgers (60-52) 6-4 last night in L.A. The Rockies are off today before opening a weekend series tomorrow night at the San Francisco Giants (61-50).

Rutledge Powers Rockies To 3-1 Win Over Dodgers

Powered by a four-hit night from Josh Rutledge, the Colorado Rockies (40-68) won in L.A. for the second evening in a row, topping the Los Angeles Dodgers (59-52) 3-1. Giants Sweep Rockies With 8-3 Win

The Colorado Rockies (38-68) were swept for the second time in the last three series, the latest as a result of yesterday's 8-3 loss to the visiting San Francisco Giants (59-49), leaving Colorado 1-8 in their last nine home games. Pitching Can’t Slow Giants Bats, Rockies Lose 11-6

Rookies led the way for the Colorado Rockies (38-67) again, but a 14-hit, six run offensive showing was not enough as pitching couldn't slow the San Francisco Giants (58-49) who earned the 11-6 victory last night in Denver. The Rockies have now lost seven straight series, with the final game of this one today at 1:10 at Coors Field (TV: Root Sports).
