It is unclear how many accounts have been affected (rumors claim up to 10-Million card numbers), but Global Payments, a credit card transaction processing company, is reporting that a data breach may have compromised debit and credit card information across all major card types. The announcement was made earlier today and a law enforcement investigation is underway.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to introduce K-9 ‘Ryker’ who has joined handler Deputy Aaron Hulme as the newest dog on the K-9 team. Ryker is a 14-month-old male German Shepherd from the Netherlands and has only been in the United States for two months. He was selected from among 15 dogs that were tested by Deputy Hulme and other members of the K-9 team in Indiana.
In what is likely no surprise to any of us that live here, Money Magazine has listed Fort Collins as one of the top-ten small cities to live in its latest issue. Topping this year’s list is Eden Prarie, Minnesota. Fort Collins appears at number-six on the list. Other Colorado towns in the top-25 are Highlands Ranch at #12, and Broomfield at #19.
