The husband-wife duo made up of Shawna and Keifer Thompson has been criss-crossing the country, opening sold-out shows for Lady Antebellum‘s Own the Night World Tour. And on Saturday night (April 1) they scored an upset victory over Sugarland when they were named Vocal Duo of the Year a day prior to the 2012 ACM Awards. Still, despite his growing stardom, the part of Shelton’s life that onlookers no doubt envy the most is his marriage to country queen Miranda Lambert. You would think that country royalty like Blake and Miranda would be living high on the hog, but in a recent interview, he insists that they are devoted to keeping life simple — even on their date nights.

Rascal Flatts Rename 2012 Tour to Support ‘Changed’ Album

A few weeks ago, we announced Rascal Flatts’ American Band Tour dates. But as of today, the American Band Tour is no more. But fear not, ticketholders! Rascal Flatts will still be delivering their great get-down country tunes this year — they’ve just changed the tour name to the Farmers Insurance Presents Changed Tour. The tour’s new name honors the band’s eighth studio album release by the same name.
