K99 Staff
K99, Colorado's Best AND MOST Country for Northern Colorado.
Brad Paisley's newest record, This is Country Music, plays like a country rock mix tape curated and orchestrated by Paisley himself. It's packed with guest appearances from the likes of coiffed guitar acrobat Marty Stuart, classic rock crooner Don Henley and, of course, Paisley's go-to duet partner these days, Carrie Underwood. Plus, Clint Eastwood whistles the melody to the instrumental 'Eastwood.' If that sounds like the most awesome thing ever, well, what can we say?
Not that it's anything new for the 'Celebrity' singer - he's put together some great collaborations in his day. Check out our list of the five best Paisley duets of all time, and when you're done reading, head over to our Facebook page to enter for your chance to win a trip to West Palm Beach to see Paisley in concert - and meet him backstage.

How are people here in Northern Colorado reacting to the news of Osama bin Laden's death? We wanted to see and hear your reactions first-hand, so K99 hit the streets of Downtown Windsor Monday morning asking people what they thought after hearing Osama bin Laden was dead. Watch their reactions after the jump.
And another one bites the dust.
Just days after Katie Couric announced she is leaving 'CBS Evening News,' the Hollywood Reporter brings word that Couric's 'Today' show replacement, Meredith Vieira, is leaving the top-rated morning news program in June.
Though unconfirmed, NBC is expected to make the announcement official as early as next week.
Taking Vieira's place will be long-time 'Today' show newsreader Ann Curry. Curry's spot will be filled by Natalie Morales.
Nineteen-year-old Hunter Hayes visited K99 on Friday, April 29, 2011. Hunter was recently honored as CMT's "Next Big Thing" and will be touring with Taylor Swift this summer. Watch Hunter perform his single 'Storm Warning.'
The K99 staff was proud to be payed a visit by upcoming country performer, Hunter Hayes this morning. Hunter will be touring with Taylor Swift this summer. We are sure you'll be as amazed by this nineteen-year-old's talent as we were!

And then there were five.
Ryan Seacrest told us at the top of the show that we would be disappointed with the outcome of tonight's results - and he wasn't wrong: In somewhat of a shocker, Casey Abrams was eliminated from 'American Idol.'
Of course, the elimination wasn't totally surprising, as Casey was actually eliminated on a previous episode. (He was then saved by the judges.) Even so, it didn't feel like it was his time to go, especially after his crowd-pleasing performance on Wednesday. Then again, it's a talented group of six, so tonight's results were guaranteed to have at least some shock value.
Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend. One is the fifth installment (yes, fifth) of the popular summer blockbuster series 'The Fast and the Furious', this time called 'Fast Five'. Most of the main players in the series are back for more high action, high energy scenes, with tons of car crashes.
The other big release this weekend is a movie called 'Prom', which as you might have guessed focuses on the events surrounding and leading up to a high school prom. It's hard to say which film will do better at the box office, as these films are targeted to two completely different audiences. Which one would you rather see?
Take a look at their trailers, Mr. Moviefone's Six Second Reviews and a list of movies still in theaters after the jump.
